You may have your email client set to
save emails on the server. To fix this please
do the following.
For Outlook Express
1. Select tools
2. Then select accounts (You should see a new window pop up
titled Internet Accounts.)
3. Now select the mail tab (Now you should be able to see
all of the email accounts here.)
4. You will need to find the email account that you are having the problem
with. Click on it once to highlight it.
5. Now select the properties button to the right.
6. Once in the properties you will need to select the advanced tab.
7. Under the heading Delivery make sure that the box titled “Leave
a copy of messages on sever” is unchecked.
By doing this you will now be able to download all of your email messages with
out saving them on the server. If you do want your email messages to be saved
on the server make sure that this box is checked. However
make sure to also check the box under this that is titled "Remove from
server after (you will need to input the number of days)10 days. Doing
this will delete the messages later which will keep the server cleaned up.
8. Now click Apply and then Ok.
9. Close the internet Account window.
10. Click on the Send/Receive button and now you should see
the messages that were being saved on the server.
For Microsoft Outlook
1. Select tools
2. E-mail Accounts
3. Select “View or change existing e-mail accounts” then
click next.
4. Now you should be able to see a window titled E-mail Accounts Click once
on the email account that you are editing then click on the button change.
5. Now click on the button titled “More Settings”
6. Select the Advanced tab.
7. Under the heading Delivery make sure that the box titled “Leave
a copy of messages on sever” is unchecked.
By doing this you will now be able to download all of your email messages with
out saving them on the server. If you do want your email messages to be saved
on the server make sure that this box is checked. However
make sure to also check the box under this that is titled "Remove from

8. Now click on the button Ok
9. Click on the Finish button.
10. Click on the Send/Receive button and now you should see the messages that
were being saved on the server.
